The terms for using this website and the TurtleReport plugin. Last updated 17 October 2026.
Licence
TurtleReport is free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPLv2+). You may use, copy, change and share it under that licence. The full licence text is at gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html.
Bundled libraries keep their own licences: Chart.js, jsPDF and html2canvas (MIT), Composer's autoloader (MIT) and the Inter font (SIL Open Font License 1.1).
No warranty
As the GPL says, the plugin is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Test it on your own site before relying on it.
Your responsibilities
- You create and control your own Google Cloud project, OAuth client, service account and API keys, and keep them secure.
- You follow the terms of the services you connect, including Google's API Services User Data Policy, Slack's terms and your AI provider's terms.
- You pay any costs those services charge. AI Advisor questions are billed to your own provider account.
- You only give report access, and only send reports, to people who should see that client's data.
- You keep WordPress, PHP and the plugin up to date and back up your site.
Data and results
Reports show data from Google's products, which can be delayed or incomplete (for example, Search Console runs about two days behind and hides rare queries). The Client Monitor's checks and suggested next steps are fixed rules applied to your numbers, and AI Advisor answers can be wrong. Check important findings before acting on them. TurtleReport doesn't promise any ranking, traffic, lead or revenue result.
Third-party services
Google, Slack, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini and xAI are independent services with their own terms. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their availability, changes or charges.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using, or being unable to use, the plugin or this website, including lost data, lost profits or service charges from third parties.
This website
Product screens on this website use invented demo data for made-up clients. Google, Slack, OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, WordPress and other names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
